Today ends the week with the producer price index (PPI) and available wholesale stocks.

Apogee Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: APOG – $ 39.46) designs and develops glass and metal products and services. Apogee Enterprises reported earnings per share of $ 0.63 for the quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $ 0.56 by $ 0.07. The company posted revenue of $ 308.60 million for the quarter, compared to analyst expectations of $ 310.23 million. Quarterly sales decreased by 8.5% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

Conagra Brands Inc. (NYSE: CAG – $ 37.24) operates as a consumer goods food company in North America. Conagra Brands reported earnings of $ 0.59 per share for the quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $ 0.58 by $ 0.01. The company earned $ 2.77 billion for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $ 2.72 billion. Sales increased by 8.5% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

Constellation Brands Inc. (NYSE: STZ – $ 234.94) produces, imports and markets beer, wine and spirits. Constellation Brands reported earnings per share of $ 1.82 for the quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $ 1.44 by $ 0.38. The company earned $ 1.96 billion for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $ 1.87 billion. Sales increased by 3.2% compared to the previous year.

Levi Strauss & Co. (NYSE: LEVI – $ 24.46) deals with the design, marketing and sale of clothing products. Levi Strauss reported earnings per share of $ 0.34 for the quarter, beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $ 0.24 by $ 0.10. The company had revenue of $ 1.31 billion for the quarter, compared to analyst estimates of $ 1.25 billion. Quarterly sales fell by 13.3% compared to the previous year.

PriceSmart Inc. (NASDAQ: PSMT – $ 95.66) engages in the international administration and operation of member camp clubs. PriceSmart reported earnings per share of $ 0.92 for the quarter, missing the consensus estimate of $ 1.06 by $ 0.14. The company posted revenue of $ 937.60 million for the quarter, compared to analyst expectations of $ 938.35 million. Sales increased by 3.4% compared to the previous year.

WD-40 Co. (NASDAQ: WDFC – $ 304.64) develops and sells maintenance products and products for home care and cleaning. WD-40 reported earnings per share for the quarter of $ 1.24, with analysts’ consensus estimates of $ 1.32 missing by $ 0.08. The company earned $ 111.91 million for the quarter, compared to analyst estimates of $ 114.30 million. Quarterly sales rose by 11.9% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

Looking ahead to the next week, investors will be looking at a range of economic data. Wall Street has its eye on several indicators, including the federal budget balance, the Fed’s Beige Book, the latest round of jobless claims and the Empire State Manufacturing Index. It also publishes company inventories, retail sales, and industrial production data, among other things.

The results log for the next week is also full.
